Dr. Barbara Ruiz-Bejarano presented the Andalusi Medina Network project at the World Islamic Tourism Conference, organized by the Islamic Tourism Center of Malaysia. The international event, now in its fourth edition, was attended by nearly 400 people who discussed various aspects of international tourism under the theme of Forging Connections.

The World Islamic Tourism Conference organized several panels where it examined the latest trends in Islamic and Muslim Friendly tourism. Dr. Ruiz-Bejarano, head of the Medinas Network project, participated in a panel on the regulation and certification of tourism companies.

During the event, “Córdoba Muslim Friendly” brochures were distributed to the more than 400 attendees.
