Cultural Trips to Spain Will Be Scheduled to Deepen Knowledge of Andalusi Civilization and Contemporary European Studies.

A delegation from Universitas Indonesia, the public higher education institution based in Jakarta, met last Saturday in Córdoba with members of the Las Fuentes Foundation to sign two collaboration agreements. The first aims to promote cultural trips to Spain in order to deepen knowledge of Al-Andalus and contemporary European studies.

The Indonesian delegation was led by Professors Eva Achjani Zulfa and Jelang Ramadhan, while the Córdoba-based Las Fuentes Foundation was represented by its director, Bárbara Ruiz-Bejarano

The second agreement to be sealed by both institutions focuses on halal certification training, one of the most dynamic economic sectors in the world, including in the field of tourism

The idea is to feature guest professors from various European universities to develop a specific program covering politics, society, history, culture, trade, and relations between Europe and Asia. The meeting addressed all these matters and set out to develop them within a detailed framework agreement.

The Indonesian delegation took advantage of their visit to Córdoba to tour the Great Mosque of the Umayyads and the palatial city of Medina Azahara
