Experts analyze the value of Andalusian historical heritage as an economic development driver in a series of sessions organized by Córdoba University (UCO). The event was organized by the Las Fuentes Foundation, sponsored by the Córdoba Provincial Council, and held in collaboration with UCO University. It focused on gastronomy and craftsmanship as key instruments in the tourism market associated with Andalusian heritage.
The seminar was presided by vice-rector for Innovation and Transference, Ms- Lourdes Arce Jiménez. Ms. Isabel Romero, president of the The Sources Foundation and an expert in Islamic economics, announced that Córdoba will join the Andalusi Medina Network, which includes dozens of municipalities with Andalusian heritage and history across the Iberian Peninsula. “The potential of Andalusian heritage remains largely unknown,” Mr. Pedro López de Alba stated in the building’s Hall of Columns.
